FUNDA DUNDAR FOUNDER & ULUS MUSIC GENERAL COORDINATOR
Funda Dundar has lived in a foreign countries for 16 years and adopted the principle of introducing Turkish Music by means of International Classical Turkish Music Camps, Classical Turkish Music Concerts, Organizations and Concerts made together with the famous singers in United States.
Starting his foreign country life as obtaining a Business Administration in London, she continued her foreign country experience through studying Russian Language and Literature in Russia and then she settled in Los Angeles, California and lived in America for eleven years.
Her organization activities she initiated under the roof of Los Angeles Turkish-American Association ( LATAA ), the founder of association herself; and with Chairman of South California Turkish-American Association Board (ATASC ) and President of Social Chair were reinforced in other countries such as Greece, Austria, Tunisia, Algeria and other countries and later on she combined her business life with ULUS GROUP through settling in Turkey for the purpose of realizing such sort of Turkish Music Organizations within our country as well, which attracted great interest in those countries.
Also “International Classical Turkish Music Workshops” initiated under the leadership of Funda Dundar attracted great interest in our country.
International Classical Turkish Music Workshops and Concerts, which are quite important for introducing both our culture and music to the whole world, will be applied in two parts as summer and winter camps under the roof of Ulus Music from now on. Upon the great interest on this issue, out winter camps of this year will be realized in foreign countries as well and will be initiated in Kuwait, Bahrain and Greece. Our goal is to realize Music Workshops in different cities in our country and make our local culture prominent in foreign countries.
As Ulus Music & Funda Dundar Organization, our mission is to be able to introduce the richness, colorfulness and variety of Turkish culture to the world culture and to enable the whole world to take advantage of this cultural accumulation. By means of the International Classical Turkish Music Workshops and Concerts we took this goal of us one step further. We are happy and proud of coordinating such an organization initiated with the purpose of introducing Turkey and Turkish culture to the foreign countries.
ULUS MUSIC PRODUCTION
ISKENDER ULUS FOUNDER & PRESIDENT OF ULUS MUSIC
ULUS MUSIC PRODUCTION is founded in 1990 as part of ULUS MUSIC by Iskender Ulus in the heart of the music capital “Unkapani Plakcilar Carsisi”. The company started production in 1992. By 1994 "ULUS MÜZİK A.Ş." was established by merging with “Midas Müzik” who owned by famous singer Belkis Akkale.
ULUS MUSIC GROUP has different departments that very important for music industry such as Ulus Music Production, Ulus Film Production, MDM Recording Studios, Marka Distribution, Ulus Edition Funda Dundar Organization, International Classical Turkish Music Workshops.
We also recently became “Exclusive Distributor” of TRT (Turkish Radio & Television Cooparation) which has the biggest Turkish Music, Documentary Film and Written Music Archive in Turkiye.
Our mission is introduce to the world the richness, colorful and variety of Turkish Music and same time make sure that the whole world can take advantage of our cultural preciousness.
So we started our projects with this mission and also part of our cultural vision; we are proud to have the results 8 years of hard working “Turkiye with Folk Music” which is completed and published 81 Albums honored by 81 Cities, In order to bring anthological world of art Turkish Islamic Music Archive Series “An Anthology of Turkish Islamic Music” which will be 116 albums when it is completed, In İZ project, we tried to immingle our authentic music with a universal interpretation and name it “Trace” Instrumental Archive Series which will be 50 albums when it is completed, and also just started Sufi Music Archive Series with “Yunus’ca” .
All of these projects are legible archive series and also honored as “Cultural Ministration” by Ministry Of Culture.
“ULUS MUSIC” attaches importance for cultural projects in the name of protecting and promoting our culture and signs many cultural projects that we can call one of a kind. We believe these marks can serve generations and help our history and culture to be known by our children and the world. We are proud to be part of this culture and doing our best to advertise our culture to the whole world with our productions.
